Alan Masa is an LA based actor and comedian, originally from the SF Bay Area where he began performing improv at ComedySportz San Jose as a member of the Sunday ensemble.
Alan then moved to LA to pursue a career in acting and comedy where he graduated from The Second City Hollywood Conservatory and performed in numerous improv shows and the well-received sketch comedy shows titled, Shownado! and Haze Of Our Lives at The Second City Hollywood Theater.
Alan was then cast in the premium sketch comedy show at The Second City Hollywood Theater titled, Some F*cking Advice, shown Saturday nights from Aug 2017 to Apr 2018, as well as showcased at the 2017 Los Angeles Diversity in Comedy Festival. Alan’s performance in the show was described as “incredible”, “hilarious”, and “heartwarming”.
Alan currently performs stand up regularly throughout LA and has been seen at The Comedy Store, Flappers Comedy Club, The Ice House Comedy Club, and The Formosa Cafe.
Alan is both a stage and film actor represented by Esprit Talent Agency (Commercial/Theatrical) in LA, and Boom Models & Talent Agency in SF. Alan's acting and improv training includes instruction from the Bay Area Acting Studio, BATS Improv (Bay Area Theatresports), and UCB Los Angeles.
